What Regroundd Is

Regroundd is a digital wellness application designed to help you reduce screen time, set app limits, and complete grounding tasks that reconnect you with real life. As you use less screen time and complete tasks, you earn roots — and those roots grow your tree inside the app. The more you choose real life, the more your garden flourishes.

Your Account

To use Regroundd, you need to create an account with a valid email address or sign in through a supported login provider. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you need to transfer your account to a new device, you can do so through the app's settings.

How You Can Use Regroundd

You may use Regroundd for personal, non-commercial purposes. The app is designed to help you build healthier screen habits through app blocking, grounding tasks, tree growth, and community participation. You agree to use the app honestly and in the spirit it was designed for. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
• Use the app in any way that could harm, disable, or impair the service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated tools or scripts to interact with the app
• Misuse the community features, leaderboard, or roots system
• Post harmful, offensive, or misleading content through any community features

Roots, Trees, and Progress

Regroundd uses a roots and tree growth system to visualise your progress. When you use the screen blocker, complete grounding tasks, and spend less time on your phone, you earn roots. Those roots grow your personal tree inside the app — from a seed to a full garden of exotic plants as you progress through 10 stages.

Roots are earned through genuine app usage and healthy screen habits. We reserve the right to adjust the roots system, progression stages, or earning rates at any time to ensure fairness and improve the experience for all users.

Community and Real Tree Planting

Regroundd includes a community page with a public leaderboard where users can see how the community is progressing together. All users' earned roots contribute to a shared community total. When the community collectively reaches 1,000,000 roots, Regroundd plants a real tree in the real world.

The leaderboard displays anonymised or username-based rankings. By using Regroundd, you agree that your username and roots count may appear on the public leaderboard. You can manage your display preferences in the app settings.

Real tree planting is carried out through verified environmental partners. Regroundd reserves the right to select the planting partner, location, and tree species. Planting timelines may vary depending on seasonal and logistical factors.

Missions and Suggestions

Regroundd offers real-world activity suggestions based on your emotional state and interests. These suggestions are for general wellness purposes only and are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. If you are experiencing mental health difficulties, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Subscription and Payment

Regroundd is a paid subscription service at $2.99 per month. Subscriptions are processed and managed through Apple. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's payment terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.

We may adjust pricing for new subscribers in the future. Existing subscribers will be notified of any significant changes before their next billing period.

Your Data

Intellectual Property

The Regroundd name, logo, design, and all content within the app are owned by Regroundd. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our intellectual property without our written permission. The tagline "choose what's real." is a trademark of Regroundd.

Regroundd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to provide accurate information and reliable service, we cannot guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted at all times.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Regroundd and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any damages resulting from reliance on the app's content or suggestions.

Changes to the Service

We're constantly improving Regroundd. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time, including changes to the roots system, tree progression, community features, and leaderboard. If we make changes that significantly affect your use of the service, we'll notify you through the app or by email.

Account Termination

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. All your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the applicable laws of the member state in which Regroundd is registered. Regroundd is designed for worldwide use, and we comply with applicable consumer protection and data protection laws in the regions where our users are located, including GDPR for users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.

Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the competent courts of the EU member state in which Regroundd is registered, unless applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide you with the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
